In a small twon North of Freiburg in Emmendingen a new square dance club offered with an "open house" a beginner-course. So in September 1979 a class will be started and ended in June 1980 with the "graduation"
After some days of dancing in Emmendingen some the new dancers like to dance at her home-town in Freiburg. Most problem was some special things like a cheap dance-hall, a caller and a club.
We found a good dance-hall and in January 1985 the first regular clubdance started in Freiburg at Tuesday from 7.30PM to 10.00PM
Some exehibitions of this new square dancing group help us to became popular. On a meeting we like to found a new club on 30th July 1985. The name of the new club: BREISGAU TWIRLERS FREIBURG

A lot square dancers from our area come to dance the whole day on this fair and the guest-caller Rudi Pohl and Jochen Görke help us to perform a good dance for the dancers
